Forget about the outcomes.

Medication can have unintended effects, good or
bad.

Statins -> improve longevity in patients with
low cholesterol through unintended and not fully understood anti-inflammatory pathway.

Drug for PVC -> increased in death rates. Not
fully studied before being approved.
