Dear LCOM Researchers and Research Staff,
We are inviting you and your colleagues to participate in a REDCap training for research series in October. REDCap is a free and secure web-based application for building and managing online surveys and databases. If you or someone you know are interested in learning a bit more about the innovations of using REDCap for research at this institution, we invite you to register for these trainings using the registration links below.
There are two levels of this training series that are being offered, Part I and Part II, please see the descriptions of these sessions below. After each training session there will be an open forum for participants to ask questions and also come with their project specific questions if they are already REDCap users.
These trainings will take place via Zoom meetings. Pre-registration is required via the links below. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email with your unique log in for the meeting, please save this information to facilitate logging into the workshop the day of the event. On the day of the event, please do not share your unique link as it is registered specifically to you.
Introduction to REDCap: Part I
Description: In the first hour, we will highlight the key features of REDCap, create new projects and user rights, design data collection instruments, and move projects from Development to Production mode. Afterward, please feel free to stay and ask any REDCap-related questions for your specific projects.

Introduction to REDCap: Part II
Description: In the first hour, we will focus on surveys, survey invitations, and the survey queue. We will also set up alerts/notifications, create a longitudinal project, and generate reports and data exports. Afterward, please feel free to stay and ask any REDCap-related questions for your specific projects.
