Abigail Crocker, PhD, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, and her colleagues in the UVM Justice Research Initiative, were featured in a press conference by the Vermont Department of Corrections this week. Their work revealed alarmingingly poor mental health among both prison staff and incarcerated persons at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield. See the coverage in VTDigger.
