DATA RELEASES IPUMS CPS August and September 2019 basic monthly variables are now available. 2019 ASEC data are here! New this year: the ability to specify whether a spouse/partner is of the same or opposite sex, new income and health insurance variables, and new editing procedures on the census side. Read all about it in this blog post. IPUMS Health Surveys 2017 MEPS full year consolidated data are now available from IPUMS MEPS. Healthcare expenditures. Health status. Medical conditions. Healthcare utilization. MEPS has these data for the U.S. since 1996! IPUMS USA To quote our director, Steve Ruggles, "I have dreamed of this day for the past four decades: full-count IPUMS census data spanning the period 1790-1940 are now available." IPUMS USA released the 1860 and 1870 full count datasets on September 25, completing the range of publicly available US Decennial Census full count microdata. IPUMS International It's that time of year again: IPUMS International data release season! Read this blog post to learn about the IPUMS International 2019 data release. WEBINAR AND WORKSHOP IPUMS Health Surveys Webinar "Intro to IPUMS NHIS" Wednesday, October 30 12:00-1:00 p.m. CST IPUMS NHIS harmonizes data from the National Health Interview Survey collected by the National Center for Health Statistics. Data include annual survey data from 1963 to the present. This webinar will overview the structure of the NHIS data and topics available in IPUMS NHIS, explore website features for customizing data extracts, provide a quick start guide for new users, and share insider knowledge useful to both new and experienced users.
