Clinical Research Oriented Workshop (CROW) Meeting: Sept 23, 2021

 1.              Warm Up: PCORI’s support team for grant applicants is pretty good 

2.                   Ben’s presentation to NAPCRG on IBH-PC results: what could be improved and how long did it take?

a.       Timing: 12+ minutes; target is 10

b.       Suggestions:

                                                   i.      Less on “Table 1” information

1.       Collapse to one graph (age) with bullets for other demographics

                                                 ii.      Include the map of sites – everyone likes these

                                               iii.      Less on Subgroups-54 analyses: just the bolded statement, less methods explanation

                                               iv.      Keep Covid; consider turning into a graphic with timeline

                                                 v.      Consider focusing on what was in the toolkit and why it didn’t work (ASB)

                                               vi.      Rewording/reformatting of some bullets

                                              vii.      Enunciation is a good thing

                                            viii.      Consider “Integration Toolkit” instead of “Toolkit”

                                                ix.      Block out concepts and put on separate slides, e.g. Research Question, Toolkit and how disseminated

                                                 x.      Remove slide on potential confounders, save for end of deck to use if needed

                                                xi.      Spend more time on post hoc and less time on primary outcome; shift from 70:30 to 60:40 or 50:50
