From the Research protections office   Committee on Human Research in the Medical Sciences January 2020 - New EDUCATIONAL Opportunity The RPO office is happy to offer training opportunities that will support both new and seasoned PI's, research coordinators, nurses and staff.  No registration is needed. o   Wednesday January 29, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM in HSRF 300 "CONCISE PRESENTATION OF KEY INFORMATION IN CONSENT FORMS" Presented by Melanie Locher, B.S., CIP   RPO DROP-IN HOURS   The IRB offers regular drop-in office hours every Monday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM There is no appointment necessary during drop-in hours.  Please come to the Research Protections Office, Waterman Bldg., 2nd Floor, 85 South Prospect Street. Staff members will be available to answer your questions and discuss issues which may arise during protocol development and implementation. Please note that these consultations are only advisory in nature and do not take the place of a formal IRB review. If applicable, you will still need to submit your final application to the IRB for review.
