2010 Instructional Incentive Grants

2010 Instructional Incentive Grants
The Instructional Incentive Grant Program, established in 1974 and funded by the Provost’s Office, seeks to encourage and support innovative and creative improvements in instruction and learning at the University of Vermont. Proposals from all instructional programs are encouraged. Each year, approximately $40,000 in grant funds are available to faculty members for innovations and creative improvement of courses. The Office of the Provost encourages proposals that support University strategic curricular initiatives.
While the Instructional Incentive Grant Committee welcomes all proposals, the Provost's Office will especially welcome those that contribute to the University’s efforts to:
·     Develop rigorous course offerings in fulfillment of the six-credit Diversity Graduation Requirement
·     Further the institutional goal of becoming the nation’s premier environmental university
